Linda's Talent Background

Linda Sisco found her voice at 65 years old in 2015. She was well known as a singer to her grandchildren and in the car, as well as a shower singer. She was fully committed to her career as an executive in property management. She did not fully discover her talent for singing until she competed in the Senior Ms. America pageant system. In 2015 she decided to challenge herself and she was accepted to compete in the Senior Ms. Michigan pageant. It is not just a beauty pageant, but is comprised of an in-depth interview, an evening gown competition and talent competition; as the mission of Ms. Senior America is “to enrich and empower the lives of seniors and tap their energy to enrich the lives of others.” She performed “I Feel Lucky” by Mary Chapin Carpenter and received a standing ovation. She was crowned Ms. Senior Michigan and then went on to compete in the Ms. Senior America Pageant in Atlantic City. She finished in the Top 10 at the pageant. Linda spent her year traveling around Michigan singing and advocating for seniors. In addition to performing in Michigan and Pennsylvania she sang in Paris, France on a Viking River Cruise.

In 2016 she left the corporate world and semi-retired to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She then founded Primetime Entertainment with her husband, William. Besides her vocals they offer karaoke parties and DJ services. At Christmas they have Santa Claus available as William has many years portraying the jolly old elf. Linda began to tour around South Carolina performing and advocating for seniors. She also found time to star in two national TV commercials in 2017-2018. In 2018 she wrote, directed and filmed a short film that won the “Courage Award” at the Brookdale National Short Film Festival. In 2020 she was encouraged to compete for Ms. Senior South Carolina. In January 2020 she was crowned Ms. Senior South Carolina for 2020-2021.

In 2021 opportunity knocked and she and William relocated to Ocala to On Top of the World. Within two weeks after her arrival, she performed her first show in the area and has been performing regularly ever since. They also host regular karaoke parties in the area. Linda is regularly available for the Ocala area and the Villages as well as special engagements throughout the state. 

Her performances are upbeat, vibrant and entertaining, and she enjoys involving the audience during the show. She performs a variety of music from the 50’s to the 80’s as well as standards, with music from multiple genres to include the oldies, pop, rock, country and blues. She caters each performance to the audience as she loves the way music touches people.

Linda's Biography

Linda was born, raised and lived in Michigan. She worked in property management for 35 years and served as Vice-President of two different firms at the end of her career. She has won many awards as employee of the year and leadership awards at the state level for her accomplishments. She received the Michigan Leadership in Action Award for her work with senior housing in 2015. In 2001 she and her husband, William, created Embroidery Wizard, an embroidery and direct to garment printing business, which they still own and operate today.

She is a Certified Aging Services Professional from the University of North Texas and is certified in Guided Autobiography from the University of Southern California. Linda is a cancer survivor since 2007. She was crowned Ms Senior Michigan in 2015 and finished in the top 10 at the Senior Ms. America Pageant.

In 2016, she relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and started Primetime Entertainment.  Between 2017-2020, she was the Resident Program Coordinator for an Assisted Living facility and was recognized as employee of the month three times and cited for her humanitarian actions for her work with the residents during Hurricane Florence during a shelter in place. She also starred in two national TV commercials in 2017-2018. In 2018 she wrote, directed and filmed a short film that won the “Courage Award” at the Brookdale National Short Film Festival. She was crowned Ms Senior South Carolina in 2020-2021.

In 2021 Ocala, Florida became her home. She and her husband live in On Top of the World and were featured in the January 2022 issue of Neighbors Magazine.  She continues her work as a professional singer and entertainer and performs regularly in the Ocala area.  They also moved Embroidery Wizard to Ocala.

For leisure Linda enjoys cooking and baking and is an avid quilter. She trained two Pembroke Welsh Corgi therapy dogs and regularly volunteered at assisted living and nursing homes. She also has received numerous awards with her Corgi for Agility trials, rally-obedience and barn hunt trials.

Linda and William have been married for 22 years and have 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. They are loyal Michigan State Spartan fans (Go Green, Go White). They are both advocates for senior wellness. Together they designed a wellness model for positive aging for seniors and between 2013-2016 presented at 3 state and 7 national/international conferences on aging. They are best friends and enjoy their busy life to the fullest. They are enjoying the many amenities of On Top of the World and excited to bring the creative energy of Primetime Entertainment and Embroidery Wizard to the Ocala area.
